Career Training Programs at our Corpus Christi, TX Campus

Our Corpus Christi vocational school features classrooms and technical labs where students have the opportunity to learn through lecture and hands-on instruction. We can answer questions and schedule a campus tour so you can see if a trade school education from STVT is the right choice for you.

Programs Offered at our Corpus Christi Campus:

Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning, and Basic Refrigeration
This program provides instruction on the fundamental skills to become an HVAC Technician. Students may graduate with skills in installing and repairing systems, reading blueprints, replacing broken parts, understanding EPA regulations, and more. If you enjoy working with your hands, critical thinking, and problem-solving, this program may be for you.

Dental Assisting
Our Dental Assisting program is a popular choice for many students seeking a career in dental care, and through our curriculum, students have the opportunity to learn how to assist dentists in providing patient care, take X-rays, instruct patients on proper dental hygiene, and more. Students in our Dental Assisting program who graduate can begin interviewing with employers seeking qualified candidates.

 Medical Assisting
STVT’s Medical Assisting program is designed to give students the clerical and clinical skills that may be required to be a medical assistant. Through the instruction of industry-experienced professors, as well as hands-on training, students may become skilled in managing electronic medical records and insurance claims as well as using patient management systems.  Students who graduate with should have the ability to take vitals, give shots, change dressings, and more.

Combination Welding
Our Combination Welding program is popular with students who love to work with their hands in a variety of different settings.  

STVT’s Combination Welding curriculum includes both classroom and workshop instruction that provide instruction to students on how to read blueprints, use methods and materials to combine pieces, work with various tools, and other skills pertaining to combination welding.
