ARLINGTON, TX (MAY 14, 2026) – South Texas Vocational Technical Institute (STVT) is honored to be named one of the top 25 trade schools in America for 2026.
Ranked #10 out of 25, STVT is proud to be chosen in Rebellion Research’s Top 25 Trade Schools in America for 2026. Rebellion Research is a US-based research firm and think tank focused on education, news, AI development and asset management. Rebellion noted, “the best trade schools combine strong job placement, hands-on learning, industry certifications, employer connections, and affordable tuition. Some also offer flexible scheduling, hybrid learning, and accelerated programs designed for working adults.”
In the last 12 months, STVT has demonstrated this dedication to excellence in technical education by launching five new programs across the six campus network. Programs like Electrical and Automotive Service Technician were strategically chosen to address the growing search for skilled technicians across the state of Texas.

In addition to the top ten ranking, the STVT campus in San Antonio, TX was recently nominated for Workforce Solutions Alamo 2026 Impact Awards’ Talent Development Awards in the Training Provider of the Year category.
