South Texas Vocational Technical Institute (STVT) is proud to announce the official launch of our new Automotive Service Technician (AST) program at our McAllen campus with a special Ribbon Cutting Ceremony on Wednesday, August 12, 2026 from 1:30 PM – 3:30 PM.
This event will bring together community leaders, employer partners, local high schools, industry professionals, and supporters of skilled trades education to celebrate the expansion of hands-on automotive training opportunities in the Rio Grande Valley.
Guests will have the opportunity to:
