Let STVT help you develop the skills necessary to become an entry-level technician in the growing Air Conditioning, Heating, and Refrigeration (ACHR) industry in as few as 40 weeks. Our diploma program offers flexible scheduling and affordable, practical training for troubleshooting, servicing, and repairing residential and commercial air conditioning, heating, and refrigeration systems.
Students will learn the use of hand and specialty tools, the importance of safety procedures plus technical mathematics and customer service skills. Our program is taught by professional instructors in various simulated environments to help you develop the hands-on experience that employers seek.
At STVT, we are committed to helping you build a strong foundation for your future success as an ACHR technician. The ACHR graduate will be qualified for entry-level employment as an installer, repairer or service technician within property management, industrial organizations or service industries. Students must possess a high school diploma, GED or recognized equivalent. Non-high school graduates or students who do not possess appropriate equivalency may be admitted under ability to benefit (ATB) criteria with a minimum score of Verbal-200 and Quantitative-210 on the Wonderlic Basic Skills Test.
