Computer Accounting Specialist

Our program is led by experienced career professionals and is designed to train students in a variety of accounting practices and computer applications that they will experience in various business settings. Successful CAS graduates will learn to perform general office duties, moderate computer work, and moderate accounting duties including payroll. In as few as 42 weeks, you can be ready to start your rewarding new career. At STVT, we are committed to helping you build a strong foundation for your future success as a computer accounting specialist. Students must possess a high school diploma, GED or recognized equivalent, or demonstrate the ability to benefit from training. Non-high school graduates or students who do not possess appropriate equivalency may be admitted under ability to benefit (ATB) criteria with a minimum score of Verbal-200 and Quantitative-210 on the Wonderlic Basic Skills Test. The CAS graduate will be qualified for entry-level employment as an accountant, bookkeeper or auditing clerk. Successful graduates of this program are eligible to sit for the Registry Exam for CPA Assistant and Bookkeeper.
