Students will have individual consultations to determine a financing arrangement that suits their needs and personal situation, and meets the requirements of the school. If a financial problem occurs at any time prior to or during training, students are encouraged to visit the Financial Aid office immediately to discuss the situation. STVT has personnel trained to evaluate eligibility for financial assistance and to assist students with their financial needs. Applying for Financial AssistanceEach student will have a personal consultation in the Financial Aid office. The students will be given a Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). The interview will also identify other supporting documents necessary to determine financial assistance eligibility. During this consultation process, the Financial Aid Officer will assist the student in completing all the forms necessary to apply for and receive financial assistance. It is the responsibility of the student to provide the requested documents in a timely manner to determine and verify eligibility. Financial Assistance ProgramAs an accredited post-secondary institution, STVT has numerous federal financial assistance programs available to qualified students. These programs exist to assist financially needy students in paying for their educational expenses. In addition, there are a variety of state, local and private programs available.
