We are continually devoted to providing a dynamic resource and learning environment that leads to increased career options by teaching job skills, interviewing techniques and social skills which promote long term self sufficiency and job retention. The Career Services department is dedicated daily to working with the employers and community organizations to cultivate lasting relationships that prove mutually beneficial to students, the general public and the school."
GRADUATE EMPLOYMENT ASSISTANCE While proper assessments and training are necessary, STVT has always placed a great emphasis on job placement assistance, since this is the most important service we can offer our students. STVT Career Training is proud of its record of job placement assistance. This office provides the following job placement services:
The school develops contacts with employers and generally has numerous specific requests from employers for graduates. To do this, STVT maintains a contact file of potential employers which is constantly updated. Employers are also invited to come to the STVT campus for job interview sessions. |
